Arai Helmet Ltd. is a company that manufactures and designs motorcycle helmets and other helmets for motorsport from Japan that has been established since 1926. Their first owner is Hirotake Arai which came from a family that are the hatmaker for the Japan government at that time. Later, he set up the first Arai's factory in Ohmiya, Saitama and begin manufacture the headgears. Arai current owner is Hirotake's son, Michio Arai that was born in 1936 in Tokyo.
Arai is a company that particular about maintaining their quality. Since the establishment of Arai Helmet Ltd., all their helmets are 100% handmade with almost all their customer are from famous individual from motorsport industries. Each one of the headgears must go thru three separate quality control departments before it leaves the assembly line. Each helmet comes with a 5 year warranty and all helmets easily meet or exceed the worlds most stringent safety standards.
